i got up shortly after 5 am,
allowing me to capture the sunrise,
which you see here through a glass snowflake,
hanging from the lights i've hung in the patio door.
good morning montreal!!
sunny day ahead!!
cool, but sunny!
:)~

a tradition on television
is barbara walter's 10 fascinating people of the year.
while one may wonder about her choices...
i'll make sure to watch this on wednesday evening,
just for the heck of it.

KATE GOSSELIN:
dubious celebrity as she was in a reality show
showing her daily life with her now ex-husband...
and their eight children,
a set of twins and another of sextuplets.
a divorcee,
who cares?
a reality show "star".
who cares even less?!?
JENNY SANFORD:
wife of adulterer,
south carolina's governor,
mark sanford,
who admitted publicly,
amidst scandal,
of his affair with his argentinian mistress.
must love all of those airmiles he's cumulated...
another marriage on the rocks.
who cares?!?
SARAH PALIN:
this i must see,
simply so i can dislike her even more!!!
period.
TYLER PERRY:
actor, director, screenwriter, producer and author,
the man does well in the states apparently.
it seems like he's got quite an ego too,
as everything he does is prefaced with his name.
a little humility is totally lost on him i guess.
i don't know the guy,
so let's see what he's all about.
BRETT FAVRE:
the footballer that has the come in and out
of retirement likely the most often...
alrighty!!!
GLENN BECK:
a conservative commentator on american radio and television.
i wonder what he thinks of sarah palin...
ADAM LAMBERT:
american idol's alumni who made his coming out...
so?!?
MICHAEL JACKSON's CHILDREN:
i feel sorry for them,
for their loss,
and for the media exposure.
let's see how barbara handles this now.
but i don't exactly approve of this.
the kids deserve some peace.
LADY GAGA:
singer?!?
not my favorite at any rate.
might i change my mind with this interview?
we'll see!!
highly unlikely,
but you never know.
the tenth "personality" is yet to be revealed.
i must say i'm rather unimpressed with barbara's selection so far,
so the tenth better be good,
like extraordinary,
as i find nothing fascinating there so far.
that's television for you...
still,
a sunny day here indeed,
with much to do,
so,
gotta go!!
:D~

8 opinion(s):
Aww, that Carrie sure is cuddly. Nice new robe, BTW. :-)
Don't you feel Barbra never asks "the question"? Just like Oprah, it seems to me that Ms. Walters beats around the bush.
As far as I am concerned, it's that Adam Lambert I don't care for. When he screams, he sounds exactly like when one of my aunts yelling at her kids. :p
Gaga is really entertaining solo, but in a collabo, not so much; she looked and sounded mousy next to Beyonce. LOL
As for Sarah Palin, I am sure she'd be as hilarious if the Democrats had picked her to speak for them. Gotta love that insipid face.
When's your 10 Most Fascinating People of the Year, Ticklebear? :)
@ mister g.a.g.:
barbara & her likes are politically correct, creating some hype for their ratings, but never truly delivering the merchandise, so not to offend anyone...
as for MY 10 most fascinating people of the year, it would all be about me, me, me!!!
:D~
10 different personalities in one?
J'achète! LOL
@ mister g.a.g.:
judging from the number of blogs i have, i don't think that'd be a problem...
;)~
Haha ... the more, the merrier, eh?
I wonder how you can keep up with your different blogs, but I presume it's easier to compartmentalize one's psyche. :)
@ mister g.a.g.:
different blogs, different topics. a place for each thing; each thing in its proper place.
:)~
Wise enough.
I'm opting for different categories on one same blog; just waiting for my own to grow big enough to create separate sections.
@ mister g.a.g.:
then you'll need to add tabs on your blog, to keep it clean.
:)~
