TGIF: YEAH, THANKFULLY, AT LAST

another week comes to a close,
leaving me empty,
only relieved to have a reprieve for a couple of days...
it doesn't mean
i still didn't manage to have some fun
with the camera
or my kitty.
i've also been watching my DVDs of BATTLESTAR GALACTICA,
as i'm blitzing through every season.
currently watching S3E2 as i'm writing this.
i still marvel at the creativity of this series,
the excellent casting,
and how they were able to recreate a familiar series of my youth
and make it something even better,
for its drama, political intrigues,
and social critique.
one might think that humans were the good guys,
and the cylons (droids) were the bad guys,
but it was far to be so clear cut
as both fell into a gray zone
and revealed the best we hope to find within,
as well as the worse we fear.
it's a pity the series is finished now,
but it had indeed run its course.
we can only relive the experience
and it's well worth it.
