My friend and I were planning something for today,
but given our respective mood,
(mine: lazy, hers: creative),
we've both decided to stay in today instead.
Our plans will still be doable later on.
So,
no reason to go freeze our butt outside!!
Even the river seemed to protest this morning,
spewing forth some fog...
I will definitely try to enjoy instead
the comfort of my own bed.

Smart decision! As we have a dog who needs to go outside, she took us out for a very brisk walk along the sea shore. IT WAS FREEZING! The tips of my fingers were 'buzzing' for a while afterwards. Hey we live pretty near the North Pole when you think about it! And it is winter! The air is FRESH and not muggy!.......
J'ai fait une belle merde, mais j'ai adoré travailler avec mes nouveaux pigments.
J'essaie de peindre en ne pensant à rien. Je ne veux pas écouter ma p'tite fatigante de voix intérieur. J'essaie d'entendre la toile. Pas évident, mais j'ai l'intention d'en barbouiller plusieurs jusqu'à ce que tout devienne fluide et instinctif. Sans trop réfléchir et surtout, sans me juger! Pas facile, pas facile... ;¬)

Well, here, I have to open the patio door to let my cats sniff outside through the screen door, and the last 24 hrs was not the most pleasant for me as a cold draft really poured in, forcing me to close the door.
But each day that passes brings us closer to Springtime!!
