Despite the recent law [78] passed by the provincial government
to quench any excess during the manifestations that have prevailed in the city
for one hundred days now...
No such luck!!
The measures taken by the government proved pointless
as tens of thousands of people took to the street in a sign of defiance.
I still do not support students in their wish for gratuity in education,
but this law does grate on the nerves somewhat...
It is so repressive,
one may wonders about the fate of democracy.
But after what I saw today,
democracy is doing just fine
as people paraded peacefully in the streets,
chanting against the prime minister and his policies.
He's totally lost control over the situation
and any credibility,
as far as I'm concerned...
(Did he ever had any?...)
I want elections!!
I want this guy and his goons gone once and for all!!
Will people think the same,
or are they too afraid?...
He must go!!!
:(~
HUGZ
Now,
if only cops and choppers would go way...
but they do speak of [possibly] over 200,000 people!!!
Some must be glad it has started raining again...
;)~
