We've had a few flurries before but nothing that would stick around.
No such case here today
as there was a light sprinkle of snow over the city
seemingly decided to remain on the ground...
So it begins,
Winter is settling in comfortably for the next few months.
An early arrival,
one that pleases me not,
but such is our lot.
Oh well!!
I came across these in the afternoon,
thinking how someone is silly enough to give up his shoes on such a day
to tiptoe around the city barefoot...
That's until I uploaded the pics on the computer
and noticed what lays on the background
that I was at once concerned and amused:
Some junky's paraphernalia left on the ground,
so right now,
he's not feeling a thing as he's flying high as a kite for the next little while...
but it'd be a pity if he had to have his toes,
maybe even his feet amputated because of hypothermia,
all because of one hypodermic needle too many...
I didn't see him lying around anywhere.
Too bad!!
We all make choices in life and have to live with their consequences.
