Seen in the broad daylight,
this seems rather banal,
birds flocking together on a branch,
simply enjoying the sunlight.
With a few additional effects,
it may even look somewhat poetic...
almost Japanese-like...
...but once you remove all colors,
You suddenly find yourself in that Hitchcock movie,
"The Birds"!!!
Alright,
it may be a slight exaggeration...
or,

Just so you know,
I did take another picture
and thought perhaps I should get closer for more,
but then decided against it,
risking to find myself underneath seventeen birds,
what were the odds none would shit on me?!?

So I stepped away and went back to work...

Oh, it's THE BIRDS alright!! Isn't it fun to fiddle with editing and create something not necessarily better, but different. Love that middle photo.
