I've survived this day!!
It was insane but I got through it.
Two more to go!!
But I forgot something,
something I remembered only while bathing in the early morning hours:
I had an appointment yesterday afternoon
and I forgot all about it.
Given my current state,
it is hardly surprising and perhaps forgivable,
but I did send an email,
and I went in person also after my day's work to apologize,
and reschedule.
No biggie!!
Tomorrow, same place, same time.
Nice folks!!
They're quite accommodating.
:)~
In this old building where they are,
I noticed right away from my first time there
an old mailbox from the Royal Mail Canada,
the ancestor of Canada Post.
Its gold tone caught my attention right away
even if I personally prefer silver tones,
but its brass is appealing for its vintage quality.
To think there was a time when such a box would suffice to hold all of the mail
of the businesses in that building.
How times have changed!!
"Dieu et Mon Droit",
a motto written in French,
but an heritage of the British monarchy since Henry V.
I leave you with a close-up look at the unicorn.
May it bring me sweet dreams tonight
as you can rest assured that
it won't be long before I go to bed.
I'm exhausted after such a long day.
I even had to skip lunch to get up-to-date in my work.
But as I said in the beginning,
this day was completely
INSANE!!!
:D~

PS:
An update on my health:
Had migraines and still have massive headaches but,
the good news today if you want to call it that,
is that I don't have Influenza but a mad case of sinusitis.
It still hurts,
take my word for it!!!
Oh well!!
:)~

It always helps when you know what you are suffering from. I remember once being told by a doctor I was suffering from Burnett syndrome : they had decided to name it after me. Not sure if it helped, however.
ReplyDeleteI don't know whether you should be thrilled or insulted by this...
DeleteI just hope you found another doctor to treat you.
The Burnett Syndrome...
Oy!!
:D~
