These last few days were most difficult due to a migraine
and I feared this day might be lost as well.
I felt like crap last night and this morning,
but I still ventured outside come mid-afternoon.
I felt faint in the subway but survived;
I did find what I was looking for at the store.
Tonight,
I will be sleeping on two brand new [asthma] pillows,
with each their own special cover against bedbugs.
Don't want those to come back [ever]!!
I walked outside,
dizzied by the crowd but benefiting from the fresh air.
As I waited for my light to cross the street,
I noticed this on the side of a bank
and stopped to take a picture.
Yes, of course I had my camera with me.
Always do!!
Further down the hill,
in the Quartier des Spectacles,
I took this picture of these metallic modules.
I kinda like the scene in the middle,
even if I'm not big on the human factor in my photography.
Going back inside to get to the subway,
I captured these graceful curves.
Then I experienced an upside world.
I then lingered awhile in this corridor where there's a projection.
Some people were indifferent...
Others stayed a while like I did,
contemplating the display...
I did manage to get a few frames
with no one around.
Seeing this door,
it was my cue to go back home.
I was hardly gone an hour
but I was most glad to be back home,
safely!!
I am exhausted,
even after so little...

I know what you mean about 'unwanted people' in photos......changes the entire shot.
ReplyDeleteGreat shots....liked the first, Thor God of Banking!!lol And what an interesting display in the subway.....only in BIG CITIES! Pity!
Maybe you have the flu? It's everywhere I hear.
I got my flu shot last November, as usual,
Deletebut it looks like I may have caught a strand that was not part of the vaccine.
So, this, combined to my migraine, it made for a most lovely weekend,
concluded by a 12-hours stay at the ER...
Way to kick off the week,
wouldn't you say?!?

Hope all is well soon! So sorry to hear you are suffering with headaches.
ReplyDeleteHeadaches, which are a common thing for me, I can handle.
DeleteBut I thought migraines were a thing of the past.
Apparently not...
