Having been up for part of the night,
I eventually got up to make myself a second coffee pot,
just in time to see dawn making its appearance.
A red dawn!!
You see here the original picture.
I obviously enhanced it a bit...
As the morning light evolved outside into a whitish canvas,
my picture evolved as well,
making various versions.
I started adding textures,
just to experiment.
I was then reminded of those old illustrations of tales of war,
and how soldiers would stand guards on top of towers and ramparts,
watching out for possible enemies.
We may have turned the page on History,
but who's watching now?!?

Bruno, I can't believe what you can see from your windows!! This photo reminded me of a nuclear stack , just has that look about it.
ReplyDeleteI like what you did with it too. I could spend hours editing and discovering.
If this was a nuclear stack, you wouldn't find me anywhere near it.
DeleteI'm not a big supporter of nuclear energy...
But I do get what you mean, the silhouette can indeed look somewhat similar,
but fortunately for me, this is only a water tower.
I don't have hours to spare, so it's a good thing I'm a fast editor.
But I do enjoy the process.

:D~
