I WOULD LIKE TO DEDICATE THIS TO... (051/365 DAYS, 3.0)

I would like to dedicated this post
to "those fools" who like Winter!!
The weather girl spoke of mild temperatures and only a few flurries...
It was mild when the wind didn't hold you in its icy grip and tossed you around;
and if this is what she calls "only a few flurries",
let's just say I wouldn't let her butter up my toasts "just a little",
because she'd likely kill me by sending my cholesterol through the roof...
This said,
I've survived this day and it's now over.
I can only look back at the pictures I took despite the elements.
I hope you enjoy these.
:)~

This was in the [early] morning hours
when I saw this bike.
I saw it later and it is clear its owner took the bus,
or stayed home!!...

I'm pretty sure someone out there will see this and go:
"Awh, how pretty!!
Yeah, right!!
You were not the one turning into an instant snowman while taking this pic,
were you?!?

A view of the boulevard...
And the sidewalks were covered with snow,
making it a difficult journey for me to get to work.

By midday,
some staircases were unusable,
due to some neglectful people.
Even at my place,
somebody has not been doing his job...

One can always look up at the trees to find this inspiring,
but to tell you the truth,
Winter has long lost its charms I once believed it had when I was a child,
and after more than half a century of living with this sh...snow,
let's just say I feel a little jaded about it.

Appealing to the powers-that-be is of no use.
More than likely,
they would just dump more of that crap on your head just to shut you up...

You may wonder why I don't find this more appealing
and you might be right,
but this is not for me.
I yearn for something nicer.
But going South?
I don't want hurricanes.
East as in Asia?
Tsunami, no thank you!
The desert?
Scorpios and cold nights and no water for my coffee maker nor the shower,
not good!!
Europe?
Don't much care for their political situation among other things...
But a wild idea came to mind:
How about a shock therapy in Iceland or Antarctica?!?
I would see so much snow in one year
that I might be glad to finally come home,
thinking our Winters are nothing in comparison.
Just an idea...
I like to bitch!!!
:D~

So,
until a window of opportunity opens up,
I'll just cope with what we have here.
It's home,
and that's hard to beat.
Hey, in four months,
I'll bitch about the heatwaves!!!
But the idea of sweating profusely sounds great right now...
:D~
HUGZ

P.S.:
It's all turning to slush now...
Just had to say...

    1. You see, coffee still works for me.
I sure don't need to freeze my butt off...

I hate Winter and stand by this statement.
But no matter the situation, I still see,
      I see things my way...
      :)~
