It's hard to believe that,
even if I'm surrounded by so many people,
that the place can occasionally be ever so quiet.
So much so,
it nearly gets creepy,
especially when you see that exit sign far away,
only to discover another long corridor,
hopefully as empty as the first one...
You don't want to run into some creep,
but you may bump into the security guard keeping us safe at night
when he does his rounds...
That's usually when the creeps get in.
I'm keeping my door locked!!
The sun is currently rising,
making the world a safe place again.
A noisy place too!!!
That goes without saying...

Whoa ... dark shadows, creepy silence, things that go bump in the night. I'm surprised you opened your door long enough to get this picture. Isn't it a shame we have to be worried about who or what is outside our door. Thank Goodness for Security Guards.

Well, this building are a terrible reputation under the old administration, but the new one has turned things around these last few years. They did massive cosmetic work to this old thing, and changed some of the clientele, so, we see less police presence on the premises...
DeleteI remember [not too fondly] certain neighbors. It's a bit more peaceful around here now.
I noticed, when I opened Blogger on my Reader that you have a snowman for your MOM.
I'm curious to see how you managed that. I'll drop by later!!

Your photo makes that hall look very ominous!
ReplyDeleteIt may actually be a well lit space,
Deletebut the feeling I get when I walk there at night,
well, my pic conveys that feeling.
Possibly some memories of old encounters flashing back...
:D~
