OUT of BOREDOM (032/365 DAYS, 3.0)

It's Friday and it's been a long week, 

so I had neither the desire to confront the cold outside, 

nor the time actually to venture out to find something special to photograph. 

I did see on my way to work 

a toilet sitting on the curb surrounded by some odd objects, 

but if I wished it'd still be there by lunchtime, 

my hopes were crushed as I realized the city truck had stopped by to collect all of the trash... 

But while at work, 

I did take a picture of something familiar, 

perhaps too familiar since I find it boring, 

to say the least. 

A bunch of flasks sitting on a shelf!! 

WOW!! 

Your excitement is as palpable as mine was... 

But when I saw the toilet was gone, 

I was happy to have taken this photo after all. 

I played with it on Photoshop, 

adding filters and textures, 

and voila!! 

The end result is not that unpleasant. 

It just proves you can make anything palatable 

if you work on it a bit. 

If I was able to this with a few flasks, 

imagine what I could have done with a toilet on the curb!!!

The only good thing about the weather today was, 

the wine bottle I picked up after work was chilled once I got home...
