Is it mean of me to look at this scene with glee?
People trudging along,
on their way to work in the early morning hours,
fresh snow on the ground,
while I sip my coffee...
This one amused me quite a lot
when I changed some settings on my camera
and the result was a stop motion-like photo,
where a smoker standing still in front of the building
while a passer-by and a mini snow blower were in motion.
Traffic is not dense but constant.
I keep hearing engines roaring and tires swishing the melting snow around,
people waiting for their light
because you don't want to get a ticket for crossing the street at the wrong time,
especially in front of a police station.
That'd be asking for trouble,
and a lousy way to start this last morning of the week.
A week I've spent [mostly] at home,
relaxing.
I am now enjoying my 2nd coffeepot without any remorse!!!
:D~
The trees look pretty,
their branches now laden with fresh snow.
Well,
they look pretty from here!!
I was not the only one getting up early this morning...
Looking in the distance at a familiar scene,
one I will not have to walk toward to before next Monday.
No rush!!
Still got a few more coffees to go before then.
Have a good weekend!!!

Great photos...my son just got home from Japan last night and some of the photos he took of the gardens in the snow are just amazing. So very pretty. Hmmm...now must get coffee...
ReplyDeleteI hope I won't be responsible for getting you addicted to caffeine...

Yes, those Japanese gardens are astonishing.
Personally, I prefer them in full bloom. It's like magic.
