I recently wandered the streets of Old Montreal
and ended up on Le Royer Street.
"Le Royer Street".
This segment is strictly pedestrian,
like a bowling alley park
with benches and sculptures,
lined with trees and lamp posts,
and flanked on both sides by old buildings of a noble style.
I daresay this is good real estate right there.
You have here a "traditional" view of the street
with the modern downtown showing in the background.
I, of course, had to play with it
and turned it into something completely different.
"Reich Brothers Ltd".
I was unable to find anything about this old signage,
and I wonder...
What do they mean by toys and "articles de fantaisies"?!?
My kinky mind takes me somewhere that has nothing to do with Toys "R" Us...
But it is doubtful their business was of that nature.
