It was beautifully sunny yesterday,
damn cold but still,
So I thought it'd be a good time to take a few pictures...
What you see here is a blending of three pictures of the same scene
but zoomed in at different lengths.
I like how the sun appeared trapped in those branches
to make it linger a little while longer,
because that is what my problem turned out to be.
When I left after work,
I had something in mind,
but by the time I got there,
the sun was already hiding mostly behind the mountain,
casting a long shadow on what I meant to photograph.
I still took a few pictures,
but just not what I was quite hoping for
as far as light conditions were concerned.
We are after all getting very close to the shortest day of the year so,
even if I finish earlier than some,
I still don't get to see much daylight;
but I did give it a try.
Seems like my only option for now
would be to take my pictures during lunchtime
if I wish to have any semblance of daylight...
That's Winter for you!!
It's not even Winter yet,
this is still Autumn.
Not that you could tell...
I wonder how people way up north deal with those periods of perpetual night.
I am a night creature,
always have been,
but it is also comforting to see the sun once in a while...
