YOU KNOW WHAT?!? (049/365 DAYS, 4.0)

I've long had a grudge against Mondays,
but they're not so bad when you don't need to go to work...
I took a look outside yesterday
and witnessed a most familiar scene.

"Sunset Over the Daily Traffic

I'm just glad my days of a long commute are far behind me.
Living nearby my job makes things simpler if a tad more expensive.
But I don't need a car nor all the expenses that comes with it,
(parking, insurances, gas, repairs, license, aside from the cost of the thing itself...).
Were I to ever have a car,
I'd get a tank to plow through any traffic jam...
Better I don't [ever] drive!!!

"Exodus Toward Suburbia

I feel sorry for those poor souls that cross daily into the city
only to return to their cookie-cutter existence...
This could bring quite a debate about the purpose of life and its meanings,
but I'll keep that for another day...
It was a quiet day for me,
a trouble-free day...
with too much time to think about my own existence.
Oh boy!!!
I wonder what those people think about while sitting behind the wheel,
worming their way out of here...
Only to repeat the same scenario day after day!!

    1. It is nice not to have any obligation and be pressed for time.
But time does fly by too quickly still...

  2. These two photos are great! Love the shadows and warmth! Nice job Bruno.
My dream is to someday not need a car and to be able to walk wherever I need to go. Yes, they are very expensive machines to have. You are fortunate.
By the end of your vacation you be getting all existentialist on us! lol

    1. Hum, that'll be the day...
But I do have these thoughts, these feelings.
      I don't think I should share everything
or it might get me "certified"...

    1. Yeah, it does take away a certain quality of time,
even if they pretend they are still getting a quality of life.
      I made my choice.
